Gly-Sal 10%/ 2% Pads

Wipe the entire affected area with a moist pad one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin can occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, Reduce application to once a day or every other day.

Active Ingredient: Salicylic Acid 2%.
Inactive Ingredients: Acetone, Ammonium Hydroxide, Disocium EDTA, Glycolic Acid, Hamamelis Virginia (Witch Hazel) Water, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Polysorbate-20, Purified WAter, SD Alcohol 40B (13% v/v), Sodium Benzoate.

This product was recommended by my aesthetician for the variety of glycolic benefits, particularly in 10% strength.
Pros: Adds a clean, beautiful sheen to your skin that is visible even under makeup. Minimizes fine lines and age spots. Contributes to a clear complexion. This is also a very fair price for such a remarkable product.
Cons: None.

Pros: Very easy and quick to use.
Cons: You CAN'T go without sunscreen even for a minute!

This product goes a long way. The pad can actually be cut in half and use 1/2 in the AM and the other half in the evening. It stings a little when first applied but that goes away quickly. After about one week , I saw the difference in my skin. I love this product and have already ordered some for my son who suffers from acne breakouts.
Pros: Gives skin a smooth and toned appearance.
Cons: Just use a mild cleanser when using this product; I suggest Cetaphil.

This product was first suggested by my dermatologist. I love the pade. I use them every morning before my makeup. Its like getting a mini peel each day. Results are great.

An effective but gentle exfoliant.
Pros: Easy to use and does not cause dryness.
Cons: The pads tend to dry out by the time I reach the bottom of the container. Also, it would be nice to receive more product for the money.

I like this product a lot. I stepped up from the 5%/2% pads and I can definitely see the difference. My complexion evened out and the breakouts are less frequent. It is very drying though and harsh for twice a day applications. I stick to once a day.

These gly/sal pads were recommended by my doctor to fight the adult acne I had develped. I use them once a day in the winter, maybe 2 times a day in the summer, as I have extremely oily skin. My skin looks better than it has since before puberty. I rarely break out now, and my pores are much smaller. I would ask a doctor/dermatologist before using them, but the have really been wonderful, and have reduced my skin angst. (As a bonus, makeup goes on better, and stays on better, since my skin isn`t so oily.)

Pros: Convenient; the product stays moist in the container; they work wonderfully.
Cons: The pads produce a burning sensation, initially, whenever there is a pimple or a scrape, so there is some discomfort. However, the benefits have outweighed the discomfort, which only lasts for seconds.

This product allows my skin to breathe and has kept my skin glowing. I have used this product for over a year.
Pros: This astringent/cleanser keeps the bacteria at bay and has kept my skin clear of acne. It also helps my daughter and son's skin to stay clear.
Cons: I can't think of a thing. Glycolix has differing degrees of intensity to compliment every skin type. I love this stuff!
