eltaMD UV Shield is a non-comedogenic and safe for the most sensitive skin. Works well for all skin types for daily use and may be used under makeup. Apply each morning to face, neck, chest & backs of hands.

The product goes on smoothly and is not greasy or sticky. It is good on the face as it doesn't cause outbreaks not does it look white even though it has a fairly high zinc content.
Pros: essentially odorless

I use it daily, summer and winter. Once it is on you forget you applied it, and my skin checkups have improved greatly for the better.
Pros: True 'block' w/ zinc oxide, not oily, packs well.
Cons: None.

I have been using this product for many years. I do not use any other moisture product on m face. It was prescribed by a dermatologist and I have been using it ever since.

Great Product - Works incredibly well -- feels great on skin and most importantly - unlike many of the other Elta products - this is OIL FREE, I CANNOT have oil on my face :)

I looked into sunscreens that don`t contain the chemical oxybenzone. this products does not contain this hormone interfering chemical and it is not greasy at all. I use it everyday under any other lotion.
Pros: Doesn't contain oxybenzone and it does not go on greasy
Cons: There is a slight zinc oxide sheen, but I can live with that!

I use several products by Elta and am very pleased with them all.
Pros: What I like about this product is how well it rolls onto my skin. It's not sticky and absorbs easily. It's a great first step before applying my foundation.

This is NOT a moisturizer. I still need moisturizer with it. I like that, so I can choose my own.
Pros: Goes on thin and sheer. Gives a nice finich to the skin.

I discovered ELTA from my dermatologist years ago, I think this is a fantastic product. I have medium-oily skin and have struggled to find a good sunscreen to wear under makeup that doesn`t make me look `shiny` but also provides good sunscreen coverage. Not only does it deliver on these things, I find I prefer it as my moisturizer -- my makeup looks better when I use it!
Pros: Light, Moisturizing, non-Acne causing, no smell

Pros: It's light, feels great on my skin, smooths on easily, absorbs quickly without greasy residue and keeps a shine-free, matte finish all day.
Cons: Nothing! It's perfect.

This is one of the only Eltas with NO petrolatum. If you are looking for OIL FREE - this is it. The next two products on this page, the 2ND ingredient is petrolatum. I realized this by trial and error. Avoiding OIL? Use this one!!

I absolutely love eltaMD UV Shield SPF 45 with 9% Z-Cote! It works great and I use it daily!
Pros: Goes on easily and absorbs rapidly. It does not affect any foundation you put over it. It is not thick and spreads great, not leaving you look like a ghost! It is more like a great face product than a sunscreen.
Cons: There was nothing I disliked about this product.
