Direction for nightly use: After application of Retrinal .05 or 0.1 on the entire face as part of your skin rejuvenation program, apply a small amount of Retrinal H.A.F. onto deep lines with a tapping motion until completely absorbed. Effective and really does reduce the lines especially around the mouth. I was pleasantly surprised. Make sure you PAT it in, do not rub.
Pros: Beautiful outcome
Cons: none so far...even the cost is fair I think.

Renova was too harsh for me (and too much for my budget). Needless to say it also dried my skin. Avene`s Retrinal 0.05 is just right! There is no added dryness and after several weeks of use there is a noticeable difference in skin texture, a smoothing and softening.
A little timid, I began slowly at first just using it every other night. Now, I use it nightly with absolutely no skin irritation or necessity of following it with a moisturizer.
I`m eager to see what the results are after months of use when I`ve noted improvement in just weeks!
